The following is a list of policies and procedures for Happy Paws pet sitting.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Office Hours: 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Pet-Sitting Visit Hours: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. 

*Please note that these hours may not be available everyday due prior commitments.  Call to check availability.

Reservations:

All reservations must be confirmed verbally by me directly.  Email and phone message reservations are not accepted until a verbal confirmation is made by myself.  This is to prevent miscommunications resulting with animals being unattended in your absence.

Reservations must be made a minimum of four days prior to intended service date.  First time clients will need to schedule a 30 minute initial meet and greet visit. 

Reservations will be reconfirmed by myself 24-48 hours prior to scheduled start date.

Last-Minute Reservations

These will ONLY be made for returning clients with a surcharge of $10.00. 

Holiday Surcharges: additional $10.00 for the holiday.

Bad Weather: Every effort will be made to get to your pet as soon as possible when adverse weather makes travel hazardous.

Pet Immunizations:

Pets must be current on immunization and be in good health upon your departure. 

House Key:

The client should give a house key during the initial meet and greet visit and it will be returned at the end of your service.

 

If the pet sitter has to make an extra trip to pick up or drop off the key there will be a $10.00 surcharge to cover the extra gas and time.

Payment Policy:

A third of your estimated  service cost is due upon the beginning of the service date.

Remainder of the payment is due 14 days upon the end of the service agreement.

A 10% late charge will be applied after 14 days.

Cash and check are the only accepted payments.
