Hi.  My name is Janell Staples.  I am the owner of Happy Paws pet sitting service.  I have been a pet owner and animal lover my entire life.  During college I worked in a veterinary clinic and my interest in animal's and their well being grew from a hobby into a passion.  Unfortunately, my veterinary clinic days came to an end once I graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in education.  From there I taught elementary school where I continued to educate my own classes about animals and their care at every opportunity I could get.  Both of these jobs have been not only enjoyable, but deeply rewarding.

Recently, we became involved with the Fayette County Humane Society.  We became foster parents after rescuing a starved boxer we found running down the street.  Now we have fostered a total of sixteen dogs (not all at one time).  See their cute pictures below our own critter collection.

After a couple heartbreaking loses our critter collection has became smaller.  My husband and I have filled our house with 1 dogs, 3 cats, 1 baby turtle, and a tank of fish.

Our Critters
